About This Project

A painting workshop/installation called HERBARIUM was created for the Natural Sciences Museum of Brussels.
The first phase of the project was the creation of irregular canvases of various sizes reproducing the shape of monocotyledonous or dicotyledonous seeds.
Then many leaves of various shapes, types and colours were selected from various plants as stencils to decorate the different-shaped canvases.
A 36 square metre monumental canvas housed the final creation as a tribute to biodiversity.
The overall activity aimed at underlining the importance of species and the aesthetic value of nature.
